GHA's Second Canterbury Scheme for Regeneration is the Peugeot Site

Guy Hollaway Architects have been appointed to regenerate the disused Peugeot site in Canterbury. The site currently contains a run-down Peugeot Showroom, Petrol Station and Garage. The plot, which is a 10 minute walk from the Slatters site, is located next to the Canterbury Christchurch library and an old school opposite the city wall. The site sits partially in an old burial place and is an area of Archaeological interest, but has been contaminated by the presence of the petrol station.

GHA looks to transform the area, introducing a new circa. 580 bed scheme for student accommodation that is sensitive to the site, adding to the growing academic presence in Canterbury whilst maintaining its historic character.
