Oh, We Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside!
In keeping with our love of transforming coastal towns, Wednesday night saw Guy Hollaway Architects and guests celebrate the start of summer in a truly 'English Seaside' fashion.
Our team of Event Co-ordinators and Interior Designers transformed our Kent office's outdoor space into our very own stretch of beach, where fish ‘n’ chips, live music by band King Ziggy and a silent disco were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The party marked the departure of two long-standing members of staff - London's Lead Designer, David Weir, and Kent’s Business Development Manager, Luke Harrison. We wanted to see them off in style and the party was a great farewell bid. Both will be missed but we wholeheartedly wish them every success in their future careers.
Moving forward it was proudly announced that Matt Whitby will be made Senior Partner heading up our two Kent studios, while Mike Pearson will be made Partner heading up Studio 2. Having successfully set up our London studio with Guy, Tim Goode will be made Partner. Giles Fitch, Michelle Earnshaw, Andrew Wall, Mark Humphreys and Tomas Rek are to be made Associates of the Practice. This is exciting news for Guy Hollaway Architects and we all look forward to supporting them within their new roles.
Thank you to everyone that came to the party, the night was a great success, we hope you all enjoyed ‘being beside the seaside’ as much as we did!
